Initially I had been in two minds about going to the Ablaze conference but after praying about it I felt God giving me the nudge to go. The first talk by Melinda took us on a journey in which we imagined ourselves moving out of the drivers’ seat of our lives and allowing the Holy Spirit to take the wheel. I found this meditation very helpful. Then I participated in the Naturally Supernatural workshop where we shared stories of the way the Holy Spirit was active in peoples’ lives. It was amazing to hear the many ways He was at work. I thought to myself these experiences couldn’t be mere co-incidences. It took me back to a moment a few weeks ago when the Holy Spirit gave me the right words to say in a conversation. It was a full-on day but so worthwhile. I was glad I hadn’t missed it
