Are your spiritual tanks running on empty?
Are you striving to minister while feeling drained?
The Anglicans Ablaze mini-conference, hosted by St. Mary’s Bardon, brings a time of expectation of refreshment, revival, and renewal for the soul. This event is designed to re-energize and equip believers of all ages, fostering the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives and parishes.
In 2024, three grassroots Anglicans Ablaze mini-conferences aim to kindle the fire of spiritual renewal across Australia. The journey began in Gippsland in May, continues in July in Bardon, and concludes in Lake Macquarie in October. Registration for the events is open at the Anglicans Ablaze Conference website anglicansablaze.org.au
We extend a warm invitation to all our Anglican community in Queensland to join us at St Mary’s Bardon to provide an opportunity for believers to refresh, empower, and equip themselves for life in the power of the Spirit.
The event will feature a blend of worship, prayer, and insightful teachings, creating an atmosphere that nurtures spiritual renewal, healing, and refreshment. Central to each event is our commitment to fostering an environment where the Holy Spirit can move freely and His spiritual gifts can equip Christ’s church for service and mission.
The Bardon conference kicks off on Friday, July 19th, with an evening service focused on equipping spiritual leaders for ministry in their local parishes. Bp. Ian Lambert will lead a session titled “Our Supernatural God & Our Supernatural Ministry.”
The main conference day Saturday, July 20th, will cover themes “Freedom in the Holy Spirit,” “Being Led by the Spirit in the Local Church,” “Abiding in the Spirit,” and “Hearing from God,” along with various elective workshops run by grassroots renewal leaders: Bp Ian Lambert, Rt Rev Dr Tim Harris, Rev Melinda McMahon, Rev Mark MacDonald and Ps Rose Males.
The conference culminates in a session of worship and empowerment, preparing participants to return to their parish communities with renewed spiritual vitality, ready to share, equip, and sustain each other by the Holy Spirit.
In a world that often leaves Christians feeling spiritually depleted, the Anglicans Ablaze mini-conferences offer a unique opportunity for spiritual refreshment. It serves as a reminder that, amidst our busiest moments, dedicating time for rest, renewal, and empowerment enables us to continue our journey with a revitalized spirit and a renewed sense of purpose in fulfilling God’s mission.
Join us for this transformative experience and let the Holy Spirit rejuvenate your soul.
